All correspondence to the insurance carrier will be sent certified mail. We will do everything we can to keep your costs at a minimum. If your case has to go to a trial, additional costs such as deposition costs, expert witness fees, investigator fees and court filing fees may be incurred. Q What if I do not recover anything? A. Then there is no fee or costs due. The $3,495.00 is contingent just like most firms’ 33% fee. Q What if 33% is less than $3,495.00? A. You will be charged 33% or $3,495.00, whatever is less. Q Do you take cases other than automobile, motorcycle, truck or pedestrian accidents? A No, We limit ourselves to automobile, motorcycle, truck and pedestrian accidents. We want to be the best at what we do, Q How will my case be handled? A First, we will help you obtain quality medical care. Next we will obtain copies of the insurance policies and the accident report. We will keep in touch with your doctor to monitor your medical care. We will collect all your medical bills and out of pocket expenses. When your medical care is completed, we will conference with you to determine an acceptable settlement value. We will then prepare the settlement demand package and sent it to the insurance company. We will then attempt to negotiate an acceptable settlement. Q What if my case cannot be settled without filing suit? A If we cannot settle your case without filing suit, we will file suit and prepare the case for trial. At that point, standard contingency fee rates of 33% to 40% will apply. Your case will be handled by an attorney certified by the Florida Bar as an expert in personal injury law. Q Who decides whether we settle or file suit? A You do, in consultation with Mr. Soto, Ms. Tharpe or Mr. Hall. Q Will my attorney be available to answer my questions? A Your attorney will be available by phone or e-mail Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. We will return your call or e-mail within 24 hours.
